Ambassador of Tajikistan Presents Credentials to the President of Sri Lanka

DUSHANBE, 19.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On May 15, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka (residing in New Delhi), Lukmon Bobokalonzoda, presented his credentials to the President of Sri Lanka, Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Bobokalonzoda conveyed cordial greetings and best wishes from the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, to the Sri Lankan President.
Following the credential presentation, the Ambassador held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Employment, and Tourism of Sri Lanka, Wijitha Herath.
The two sides exchanged views on the implementation of previously signed bilateral agreements and discussed the development of mechanisms to enhance political, trade, and economic consultations between the two countries.
