Tajik Ambassador to UAE Meets CEO of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank to Discuss Bilateral Banking Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 21.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Last week, Ashrafjon Gulov, Ambassador of Tajikistan to the United Arab Emirates, met with Muhammad Abdulbari, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), in Abu Dhabi.
Both sides emphasized the importance of establishing closer cooperation between the banks of Tajikistan and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank to enhance economic and financial ties.
The discussions also focused on exploring opportunities for partnership within the banking sector, expanding correspondent banking relations, ensuring compliance with international standards, and exchanging expertise in improving customer services through digital technologies.
Additionally, both parties agreed on the importance of capacity building and organizing study tours for banking professionals to each other’s countries.
