Tajik Traditions, Culture, and National Attire to Be Featured at Digital Exhibition in New York

DUSHANBE, 21.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – From May 22 to 25, New York will host a digital exhibition titled “Threads of Tradition”, spotlighting the traditions, culture, and national attire of Tajikistan.
The event aims to introduce international audiences to the rich historical and cultural heritage of Tajikistan through immersive virtual experiences. Visitors will explore exhibits dedicated to traditional Tajik embroidery and handicrafts, offering insight into the artistry and symbolism of the nation’s textile heritage.
The exhibition is organized with the support of the Government of Tajikistan and the country’s Permanent Mission to UNESCO.
The exhibition space has been designed by renowned Tajik fashion designer Khurshed Sattorov, who will also showcase a special collection of national attire in the traditional Chakan style, highlighting the elegance and identity of Tajik culture.
