Tajikistan and China Discuss Opening of New Flights on Dushanbe-Beijing and Dushanbe-Xian Routes

DUSHANBE, 14.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On May 13, Habibullo Nazarzoda, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, met with Duan Xiaofen, Deputy Head of the China Air Transport Association, Wang Dongmin, General Director of Tian Shan International Airport in Urumqi, Zhu Yuchun, Assistant Chairman of the China Air Transport Association, Yang Zhikun, Sales Manager for Central Asia at the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), and Huang Gofan, Vice President for Marketing at China Southern Air Holding Company Ltd.
The parties discussed expanding flight routes and the opening of direct flights on the Dushanbe-Beijing-Dushanbe and Dushanbe-Xian-Dushanbe routes, as well as the establishment of cargo flights.
“The organization of such meetings plays an effective role in increasing the competitiveness of the country’s civil aviation sector. Therefore, the leadership of the Civil Aviation Agency plans to hold fruitful meetings with representatives from leading countries in the future,” emphasized the Civil Aviation Agency.
