Tajikistan’s International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship Expands Cooperation with Asian Development Bank

DUSHANBE, 24.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, Ubaidullo Asrorzoda, held a meeting with Ko Sakamoto, the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Country Director for Tajikistan, to discuss priority areas of bilateral cooperation.
Asrorzoda expressed gratitude to ADB for its ongoing support of initiatives aimed at enhancing learning environments and strengthening the university’s technical and material capacity.
The Rector also presented new project proposals focused on smart tourism destinations, the development of a university eco-campus, green infrastructure, sustainable development management, and the expansion of the dual education ecosystem.
The ADB Country Director welcomed the university’s project initiatives and expressed readiness to explore opportunities for collaboration in their implementation.
