Tajikistan Sets Goals to Boost Investment Potential

DUSHANBE, 20.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has directed relevant ministries, agencies, and local authorities at all levels to intensify efforts to attract foreign direct investment. The instruction was delivered during a national seminar-meeting with agricultural producers and local activists held on May 17 in the Danghara district.
President Emomali Rahmon outlined a set of strategic objectives aimed at advancing key sectors of the national economy, underscoring the importance of comprehensive planning and development across various industries.
As part of his broader economic vision, the President reiterated that the period from 2025 to 2030 has been designated as the Years of Digital Economy and Innovation. This initiative, announced in his annual address, is intended to accelerate sustainable growth across all sectors of the national economy.
