DUSHANBE, 25.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 25, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in the village of Umarak, Qalai Khumb rural community, Darvoz district, put into operation the Agro-Industrial Complex of Livestock Farm, including dairy goats, rabbit breeding, and a dairy products processing factory.

The Agro-Industrial Complex was built by patriotic entrepreneurs on the basis of the Limited Liability Company “Innovative Industrial and Technological Park of Darvoz District” on an area of ​​half a hectare.

The project cost of the Agro-Industrial Complex is 4 million 500 thousand somoni.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, first put into operation the Dairy Goat Farm.

It was reported that the dairy goat farm is designed for 140 heads. Currently, 92 dairy goats from Belarus and Zafarobod district of Sughd Province are being raised on this farm.

The farm has a capacity of 72 tons of milk per year and produces meat products.

10 local residents were employed upon its launch.

The dairy goat farm is equipped with advanced technological and innovative equipment. Technological equipment for watering and feeding, preventive and physical training of livestock, cleaning of facilities and milking equipment are manufactured in Italy and the People’s Republic of China.

At the same time, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, visited the rabbit breeding process in the agro-industrial complex.

It is worth noting that rabbit meat contains a large amount of protein, is tasty and dietary. This farm has imported 100 rabbits of the French breed Hikol from France, which is a high-yielding meat breed.

In this area, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, commissioned a dairy products processing factory.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the dairy products processing factory receives raw materials from the dairy goat farm of the Agro-Industrial Complex and produces a wide range of products such as cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, milk, and cream in compliance with standard requirements and high quality. Cheese production from goat milk is based on Italian methods. As it was noted, from the point of view of medical science, the consumption of goat milk and dairy products from it is beneficial for the human body.

7 local residents were provided with jobs at this factory.

The agro-industrial complex of the livestock farm, including dairy goats, rabbit breeding, and a dairy processing factory, was built with the aim of creating new jobs and expanding productive employment, which stems from the «National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030», and operates to provide the population with high-quality, environmentally friendly meat and dairy products.
