President Emomali Rahmon presents gifts to 100 orphans in Darvoz district

DUSHANBE, 25.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 25, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, met with 100 orphans and children with disabilities from Vanj and Darvoz districts in Darvoz district and presented them with gifts.
As it was emphasized, social protection of the population is one of the priority areas of the state’s social policy, and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is implementing timely measures to ensure its sustainable development and a better life for this vulnerable segment of society.
During the meeting, orphans and children with disabilities were served a sumptuous meal, and they were presented with clothing, financial assistance, and sweets.
Regular meetings with all orphans and people with disabilities prove that they are always under the attention, care, and constant support of the Leader of the Nation. It should be noted that in order to improve the social conditions of orphans and disabled people in the country, a concept, strategy, and sectoral state programs have been adopted and are being implemented, and a favorable basis is being created for the phased establishment of benefits and the provision of social assistance to orphans and disabled people.
