President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon departs for France on a working visit

DUSHANBE, 08.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 8, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, left for France to participate in the Third United Nations Conference on Ocean and to launch the International Decade for Action on Cryospheric Sciences, 2025-2034.
Our Head of State, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, was invited to these international events by the leadership of France and UNESCO as the leader of an initiative and pioneer state in global water and climate affairs.
At the Dushanbe International Airport, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon was seen off by the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, the First Deputy Head of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and other officials.
On this trip, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan for Foreign Relations, the Minister of Energy and Water Resources, the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection, the Director of the Meteorological Agency, and other officials.
It should be recalled that the International Decade for Action on Cryospheric Sciences, 2025-2034, was adopted by the UN at the joint proposal of the Republic of Tajikistan and the French Republic.
