Prime Minister of Tajikistan Meets with World Bank Regional Director for Central Asia

DUSHANBE, 17.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On 17 June 2025, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Kohir Rasulzoda, held a meeting with Ms. Tatiana Proskuryakova, Regional Director of the World Bank for Central Asia.
Prime Minister expressed appreciation to Ms. Proskuryakova, who is concluding her tenure as Regional Director, for her valuable contributions and effective cooperation with Tajikistan.
The sides discussed the current state and future prospects of financial cooperation between Tajikistan and the World Bank, reviewing the progress of ongoing joint projects and priority areas for future engagement.
Special attention was given to strengthening cooperation in the energy sector, particularly with regard to the construction of the Rogun Hydropower Plant – a flagship national project aimed at ensuring energy security and regional connectivity.
