Tajikistan and Malaysia Strengthen Business Ties Through Trade Exhibitions and Investment Talks

DUSHANBE, 07.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The leadership of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan held a meeting on June 3 with Ilham Tuaha Elias, Ambassador of Malaysia to Tajikistan, to discuss expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
The two sides emphasized increased participation of business communities in trade exhibitions hosted in both countries.
The talks also focused on attracting Malaysian investments in Tajikistan’s agriculture, textile industry, and renewable energy sectors — areas identified as national priorities.
The Chamber reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating stronger economic and business ties between the two nations.
