DUSHANBE, 07.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – During the 11th CIS Council on Industrial Policy meeting in Dushanbe, Tajikistan’s Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda met with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov.
It was noted that bilateral trade turnover between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan reached $184 million in January–April 2025 — an increase of $6.1 million (3.4%) compared to the same period last year.
The ministers discussed expanding economic, industrial, investment, and trade cooperation, emphasizing investment in priority sectors and the implementation of joint infrastructure and industrial projects.
