DUSHANBE, 26.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 26, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a solar power plant in Shugnon district, an educational institution in Roshtqal’a district, and 3 preschool educational institutions in Roshtqal’a and Ishkoshim districts were commissioned on an online format.

Also, on the same day, the Roj Solar Power Plant project, which is being built in the Suchon rural community of Shugnon district, was presented. The power plant with a capacity of 3 megawatts will be built with foreign investment.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, charged relevant officials in the sector, workers and specialists to fully utilize natural resources, timely implement planned tasks, and increase the production capacity of the energy sector.

Also, on the same day, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, launched the construction of a building for secondary education institution No. 18. The educational institution is being built for children from the villages of Dashtak and Jangal in the Roshtqal’a district. The educational facility consists of two floors and is designed for 240 seats.

With the participation of the Head of State, 3 kindergartens in the Roshtqal’a and Ishkoshim districts were put into operation on an online format.
