DUSHANBE, 24.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On the evening of July 23, the President of Mongolia, His Excellency Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, arrived on a state visit to the Republic of Tajikistan.

On July 24, a grand welcoming ceremony for the President of Mongolia, His Excellency Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, was held at the Palace of the Nation, which was festively decorated for the state visit of the high-ranking guest.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, warmly welcomed the President of Mongolia, His Excellency Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, and invited him to the tribune of honor.

The welcoming ceremony began with a report by the commander of the guard of honor to the high-ranking guest, the playing of the national anthems of the two countries, passing by the guard of honor, paying tribute to the State Flag of Tajikistan, and getting acquainted with the official delegations of the two sides. It ended with a ceremonial march and the passing of the guard of honor by the heads of the two states.

Also, in honor of the state visit of the President of Mongolia, 21 gunshots were fired from the artillery.

It is worth noting that the state visit of the President of Mongolia will continue in Tajikistan until July 26. Within its framework, high-level meetings and negotiations between Tajikistan and Mongolia will be held, new cooperation documents will be signed, and other important events will be organized, including a meeting of business and trade circles, as well as Cultural Days of Mongolia.
