Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon Commissions New Health Center in Qalai Dust Village of Devashtich District

DUSHANBE, 12.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 12, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, arrived in Devashtich district as part of a working trip to the cities and districts of Sughd Province.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, commissioned a new building of the Health Center in the village of Qalai Dust, Vahdat rural community, and got acquainted with the working conditions and services provided there.
The construction of the new building of the Health Center began in June 2024, and more than 20 local specialists were employed during the construction work.
The facility was built with the funding of the Local Executive Body of the Devashtich district, local entrepreneurs, and the active participation of residents, using high-quality domestic products at a cost of 6.5 million somoni.
The construction of the new building provided 12 local specialists with jobs.
The Health Center building consists of two floors and has 18 operating rooms, including dental rooms, ultrasound examination rooms, family medicine, circumcision, midwifery room, immunization, laboratory, examination room, electrocardiogram and 18 day beds, which serves residents every day.
The new facility is designed to provide modern medical services to 1,600 families and 6,780 residents of the village of Qalai Dust with high quality and meeting modern requirements.
