Six Tajik Documentaries to Be Broadcast on Chinese Television

DUSHANBE, 21.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of the Film and Television Program Exchange and Screening Initiative between the Republic of Tajikistan and China’s Shaanxi Province, six Tajik documentary films will be broadcast on regional Chinese television channels with Chinese and English subtitles. The announcement was made on July 21 by Nosir Saidzoda, Chairman of the Committee for Television and Radio under the Government of Tajikistan, during a press conference.
According to Saidzoda, China has also provided five films for broadcast on Tajik television channels, with screenings already underway in both countries.
“The number of films and TV programs exchanged between the two sides will continue to grow,” he added. “Joint production of documentaries is also being planned.”
The primary goal of the exchange is to strengthen friendship and expand cultural cooperation between the two nations.
