DUSHANBE, 02.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Vice-Speaker of the House of Representatives (Lower chamber of Parliament) of Tajikistan Mavsuma Muini met with the President of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt Gunnar Schellenberger, reports press-office of the parliament’s lower chamber.

The meeting focused on issues of further expanding practical cooperation of interparliamentary friendship groups. «We are satisfied with the level and content of today’s relations between Tajikistan and the Federal Republic of Germany, and consider today’s meeting an expression of the high level of relations between the two friendly countries” — said Muini.

It was noted that the meeting and talks between the top leadership of Tajikistan and Germany are a continuation of constant efforts of both sides and meet the highest interests of our people.

It was confirmed that the agreements reached during the meeting between the President Emomali Rahmon, and the Federal Chancellor and President of Germany during the first and second meetings of the heads of state of “Central Asia and the Federal Republic of Germany” in the cities of Berlin and Astana in 2023 and 2024 will give a new impetus to the development of cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.

During the meeting, it was noted, among others things, for promoting the actions needed to intensify of Tajik — Germany inter parliamentary friendship groups.
