Tajikistan and China Hold Fourth Scientific and Technical Cooperation Meeting

DUSHANBE, 23.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 21, the fourth session of the Tajikistan-China Commission on Scientific and Technical Cooperation was held in Dushanbe. The meeting underscored the strengthening of strategic partnership in science, technology, and innovation between the two countries. Over 200 intersectoral agreements have been signed since diplomatic relations were established.
The National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and China’s Ministry of Science and Technology renewed their cooperation by signing a new Memorandum of Understanding. Priority scientific areas include sustainable resource management, biotechnology, energy security, digital transformation, healthcare, and biomedical research.
Both sides expressed their commitment to advancing collaboration, especially in exact and mathematical sciences, aiming to achieve significant progress in these fields.
