On August 9, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, sent a congratulatory telegram to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Honorable Nikol Pashinyan, which read:
«Dear Nikol Vovaevich,
I sincerely congratulate you and the friendly people of Armenia on the occasion of the signing of the Joint Declaration with the Republic of Azerbaijan, which paves the way for achieving lasting peace between the two countries.
We welcome this historic event and emphasize the importance of peaceful dialogue as the only means of resolving crises and conflicts.
