President Emomali Rahmon participated in ceremony to commission the 2nd phase of the Horizon Private Educational Institution in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 15.08.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 15, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, opened the second phase of the «Horizon» Private Educational Institution in the Sino district of Dushanbe.
During the tour of the institution, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon was informed that the facility is designed to accommodate 820 students per shift, and 54 qualified teachers are employed there.
The educational building has 38 fully equipped classrooms, work rooms, a cultural hall with 500 seats, a library, a canteen, a sports hall and playground, and other auxiliary rooms, built in accordance with international requirements. Subject rooms, including physics, chemistry, biology, information technology, and other favorable educational conditions contribute to the formation of students’ knowledge.
To create modern conditions, classrooms are equipped with the latest computers and interactive equipment. At the same time, a heating system, energy-efficient lighting, and access to a high-speed Internet network create suitable conditions for learning.
Regarding the proper implementation of the quality of education and upbringing, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, emphasized that education is a priority area of the state’s social policy, and investing in it is an investment in the future of the country.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the educational process at the institution is conducted entirely in English and is implemented using the “Steam education” system, which is considered one of the most prestigious educational systems in developed countries in the world.
In addition, in order to conduct classes at a high level, young and experienced teachers from within and outside the country have been attracted to the institution.
The opening of this institution is a solid step towards the implementation of the National Strategy for the Development of Education until 2040 and will contribute to strengthening the intellectual potential of the younger generation, raising the level of literacy, and expanding educational opportunities.
In order to create favorable living and educational conditions, the institution has also prepared a dormitory for 280 people.
Taking into account the growing demand of society for quality education, it is planned to increase the number of students to 1,500 in the near future.
The Head of State considered the opening of such a modern institution a clear example of partnership between the state and the private sector in the field of education, thanked the patriotic and esteemed entrepreneur Navruz Yunusov for this noble initiative, and gave instructions and recommendations to teachers to raise an educated, intelligent, and capable generation.
