DUSHANBE, 17.09.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 17, after the opening of the administrative building of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, remotely commissioned the residential buildings of the Hydrometeorological Agency, which were built in the form of a campus.
It was reported that the construction of residential buildings with the involvement of financing from the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Asian Development Bank began in 2022, and the customer is the Hydrometeorological Agency of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The service facility consists of two 11-story buildings, a kindergarten, a sports field, two children’s playgrounds, a service center, a parking lot and a basement, and is built on an area of 1.26 hectares on Bobojon Ghafurov Street, Sino district of Dushanbe city.
Two residential buildings have 120 apartments, including 40 one-room apartments, 40 two-room apartments and 40 three-room apartments with a total area of 10,904 square meters.
120 families of industry workers have acquired housing in this facility, and at the same time their children can attend preschool education, and young specialists and their families can effectively use the existing opportunities.
On the first floor of the building there is a kindergarten, which has 4 intellectual game halls, 4 classrooms for educational activities, 4 changing rooms and a laundry room.
All service apartments are connected to a single urban heating network.
A sports field with an area of 960 square meters has been built with necessary equipment.
Shady and decorative trees have been planted near the buildings, and the surrounding area has been illuminated, which adds beauty to the city at night.
