Emomali Rahmon and Vladimir Putin reiterate readiness to continue developing strategic partnership and alliance

On October 14, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Russian Federation, Honourable Vladimir Putin.
During the conversation, the President of the Russian Federation thanked the Head of Tajik State for the warm welcome and hospitality extended during his state visit to Tajikistan.
The parties also discussed certain aspects of the agreements reached during the visit and outlined ways to further implement them.
The meeting also focused on the important outcomes of the Central Asia-Russia Summit and the CIS Heads of State Council meeting held in Dushanbe.
The parties emphasized their readiness to further joint efforts to develop Tajik-Russian strategic partnership and alliance.
