DUSHANBE, 02.09.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On October 2, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, also opened another celebratory facility — the State Flag Square of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Kangurt village of Temurmalik district.

It was reported that the height of the flagpole of the State Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan is 65 meters, the length of the cloth is 20 meters, and its width is 10 meters.

The State Flag Square was built on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan with the aim of strengthening the sense of self-awareness of the people by entrepreneurs and generous residents of Kangurt village, including Anvar Kurbonov, Sherkhon Salimzoda, and Karomat Abdiev.

The modern design of the State Flag Square is very attractive and will further enhance the sense of patriotism of every viewer, hope and faith in the bright future of Tajikistan, and his determination and readiness to protect national values and the achievements of the independence period.

In this regard, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, during a conversation with the youth of the district, called them a creative and leading force of the present and future of the state.

The Leader of the Nation guided the youth to study, master foreign languages, and appreciate the peace and tranquility of the Motherland.

Around the State Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan, modern fountains have been built and modern streetlights with solar panels have been installed for people to walk around all day long.

From now on, various cultural events will be held in this beautiful and attractive place as a sign of loyalty and endless love for state symbols, which is an important means of cultivating a sense of national self-awareness in the hearts of the future generation of the country.

In response, entrepreneur Anvar Kurbonov informed that he also plans to build a preschool educational institution for 400 children in the center of Kangurt village.
