On October 22, during his working visit to Vose district, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in the village of Selbur, Miraliobod rural community, put into operation the Durdona sewing factory and service center.

The newly built facility was built by domestic entrepreneur Davlatshoh Kahhorov for 3 million 350 thousand somoni under the direct instructions of the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of state independence.

The newly built facility consists of two floors, an auxiliary building, a special clothing showroom, a workroom and a service center of the Amonatbank State Enterprise, where the production of special, men’s and women’s clothing is organized on order. The factory also produces beautiful and comfortable clothes for children, which are competitive in quality and meet the tastes of buyers. This newly built sewing factory has provided 80 people with permanent jobs and good salaries.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the Durdona sewing factory and service center can produce up to 100-110 different items of clothing per day.

During his acquaintance with the activities of the newly established enterprise, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that modern production equipment will supply the market with high quality products.

The opening of such production factories will contribute to the implementation of the fourth strategic goal – rapid industrialization of the country, and at the same time will create an opportunity for the development of the textile industry and the gradual implementation of full processing of local raw materials domestically.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the production process and the equipment installed at the enterprise, calling such innovative initiatives of domestic entrepreneurs an exemplary and worthy of support.

The employees of the newly established factory were advised to pay primary attention to product quality so that the company’s clothing could find buyers as a competitive product.
