Russian President Vladimir Putin concludes state visit to Tajikistan

On October 12, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin departed from Dushanbe, concluding his state visit and participation in the Central Asia-Russia Summit, as well as the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
At Dushanbe International Airport, the distinguished guest was seen off with deep respect and sincere warmth by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon.
The state and working visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Republic of Tajikistan took place from October 8 to 12, 2025.
Following the high-level talks between Tajikistan and Russia, 16 new cooperation documents were signed.
The key document was the Joint Statement of the Presidents of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation on the further deepening of the strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries, signed by Emomali Rahmon and Vladimir Putin.
A number of beneficial agreements were also reached in Dushanbe during two significant regional events.
Tajikistan, particularly its capital, Dushanbe, and the people of our country, under the guidance of their wise leader, once again demonstrated that Tajikistan is a country of peace and friendship, fruitful cooperation, mutual understanding, and warm hospitality.
In honor of the departure of the distinguished guest, the President of the Russian Federation, the airport square was decorated with the national flags of both countries and photographs of the two heads of state.
A red carpet and multicolored flower stripes were laid out, flanked by officers of the Honor Guard.
