Tajikistan, Italy discuss Action Plan for 2026–2027

On October 27, 2025, a working meeting was held between representatives of the relevant national authorities of Tajikistan and an Italian delegation led by the Special Coordinator for Central Asia – Italy, Mr. Federico Failla, along with representatives from the Universities of Venice and Bologna, Khovar reports citing Tajik MFA Information Department.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on continuing the dialogue within the C5+Italy format and discussed the Action Plan for 2026–2027.
In this context, the importance of developing networks for the exchange of ideas and experience between the countries of the region and Italy in key economic sectors, supporting efforts to combat the effects of climate change, and strengthening ties between universities and research centers of these countries was emphasized.
