On November 18, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, officially launched the activities of the dairy production enterprise of Sakhovat Agro-Industrial Complex in the city of Khujand.
It was reported that the newly established enterprise has a capacity to process 10 tons of milk per day and produces 12 types of products.
Here, high-quality products from natural milk under the Sakhovat brand are produced using new innovative technologies and the involvement of 30 local workers.
To stock up on finished products and provide them to the consumer market in accordance with sanitary and safety requirements, the enterprise has built a laboratory, a cold storage, a milk reception point, a greenhouse and a warehouse for storing products with modern equipment.
The enterprise’s technology was imported from abroad within the framework of a favorable business and investment climate for 800 thousand somoni, without paying customs duties, using which specialists can produce high-quality products of high standards.
The Head of State was also informed that in the future, with increasing demand, the production of products will be increased from 12 to 60 types.
With the establishment of the enterprise, the number of dairy cattle on the Sakhovat farm was increased from 100 to 200 heads, which in the future will contribute to an increase in the volume of dairy product production, meeting the needs of the population with high-quality domestic products and reducing its import from abroad.
In the two-story building, modern work rooms, a conference room and other auxiliary facilities have been built for employees, all of which are intended to promote the activities of specialists and workers.
The founder of the enterprise also promised the Head of State that in the short term, by importing modern equipment, he will build another industrial factory where cheese production will be established.
