On November 18, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned the new administrative building of the Sughd Free Economic Zone in the city of Khujand.

The facility is a worthy gift to the employees of the Sughd Free Economic Zone, entrepreneurs, and residents of the region on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of state independence.

The administrative building was built at the expense of republican funds on a total area of 10 thousand 100 square meters, and during the construction work, 100 local builders were provided with work and good salaries.

The administration consists of three floors and a basement, and the first floor houses the departments of services to citizens. The upper floors contain a meeting room, management and auxiliary rooms, and are equipped with new generation equipment.

The building has a separate service hall, where entrepreneurs can use the Internet to use certain industrial services, including submitting their service requests electronically.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, expressed satisfaction with the creation of modern opportunities in the Sughd region free economic zone and directed the officials to produce high-quality products and export them abroad.

In turn, the employees of the free economic zone expressed gratitude for the continuous support of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, including the creation of the best working conditions in the new administration building, and assured the Head of State that in response to this support, they will work better and will direct all their knowledge and experience to importing modern equipment for the production of high-quality products and providing services to citizens and entrepreneurs at a high and modern level.

Samples of products from 48 enterprises of the Sughd Free Economic Zone were exhibited in the courtyard of the building.

Various equipment and products that are processed and manufactured in manufacturing enterprises located within the Free Economic Zone are offered to domestic and foreign markets under the «Made in Tajikistan» label.

This initiative plays a significant role in the recognition and presentation of the Republic of Tajikistan abroad.
