President Emomali Rahmon participated in inauguration ceremony of healthcare facilities in Khujand and Kuhistoni Mastchoh

On November 18, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated the new building of Clinical Hospital No. 1 named after Sulton Urunov in Khujand by lifting the curtain on the symbolic plaque.
The hospital building consists of 7 floors and is built on an area of 600 square meters with high quality and modern conditions for medical services.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the new hospital building has 7 departments and 200 beds.
With the commissioning of the new building, the number of departments of Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Khujand has increased to 18 and the number of beds to 660, which has expanded the scope of patient coverage with diagnostics and treatment.
Along with the newly established departments, the new building has a spacious hall for holding scientific and practical meetings and conferences with 100 seats, a canteen with good service conditions.
With the commissioning of the new building of the Khujand city clinical hospital No. 1, 200 employees were employed, which, together with the employees of the previously operating buildings, amounts to 900 employees.
New conditions and methods of treatment have been introduced in the newly established departments of admission, resuscitation and rescue, emergency surgery, neurology, urology, gynecology, traumatology, and orthopedics.
This medical institution is equipped with modern equipment and devices in the field, including digital tomography, digital X-ray, electrocardiography, artificial respiration devices, ultrasound diagnostic devices, modern equipment for kidney diagnosis and treatment, and other types of disinfection devices, test devices manufactured in Japan, South Korea, the Russian Federation, and the People’s Republic of China.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, had a cordial conversation with the hospital staff while getting acquainted with the new facility.
Here, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, remotely commissioned two health centers in the town of Mehrgon, the center of the Kuhistoni Mastchoh district, and the village of Paldorak, the village of Langar, the Kuhistoni Mastchoh district.
Both health centers in the Kuhistoni Mastchoh district were built with high quality with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and development partners.
