On November 19, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, during his working trip to the cities and districts of Sughd Province, inaugurated a new building of the district Education Division in Jabbor Rasulov district.
The new building consists of three floors and a basement, and it was built as part of preparations for the 35th anniversary of state independence with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. Construction work began in 2023 and was completed within a certain period with a modern design and adherence to national architectural elements.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the new building of the Education Division consists of 34 office rooms.
On the third floor of the building, there is a meeting room for 100 people equipped with the necessary conditions, and it will be possible to hold meetings, consultations, and other educational and cultural events there in the future.
The new facility also houses a library, archive, and a number of other auxiliary rooms.
With the commissioning of the building of the education division, appropriate and modern working conditions were created for the employees of the sector.
There are 43 general education institutions in Jabbor Rasulov district with an enrollment of 31,772 students.
During the inspection, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the quality of construction work and gave instructions and guidance to the education sector employees to improve the level of education, use modern technologies, attract students to study natural and exact sciences, and master foreign languages.
It was reported that 80 percent of the teachers in Jabbor Rasulov district are women. This year, 16 graduates of the district were admitted to higher education institutions of the country under the Presidential quota, 8 of whom are girls. In the past five years, 40 girls from the district have entered higher education institutions using the Presidential quota.
