President Emomali Rahmon attended opening of Bokhtar State University’s student dormitory

On December 25, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, during the working visit to Khatlon Province, inaugurated a student dormitory at the Bokhtar State University named after Nosiri Khusrav in the city of Bokhtar.
According to information, the construction work of the dormitory began in 2023 and was completed within the specified time frame with high quality.
The dormitory building has 153 residential rooms and is designed for 460 students. The facility provides all the necessary modern conditions for students, including spacious bedrooms, reading rooms, a library, canteen, service points, medical rooms, and other auxiliary facilities.
During his visit to the dormitory, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the quality of construction work, the level of equipment, and the readiness of the facility, emphasizing that the Government of the country pays special attention to the development of the education sector and the creation of decent conditions for education and living for young people.
At the same time, the Head of State had a cordial conversation with the students and, taking into account the great need for highly qualified personnel, advised them to study in-depth modern science and technology, observe discipline, constantly improve their professional skills, and serve the society in the future.
The leadership, teachers, and students of the Nosiri Khusrav Bokhtar State University expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the attention and continuous support of the Leader of the Nation, and considered the new dormitory a valuable gift and a favorable basis for the education and life of young people.
On this day, with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the foundation stone was laid for the construction of a new dormitory building for students, which will have 125 rooms with 375 beds.
