On December 24, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of the city of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustami Emomali, launched the «Pokiza M» meat and sausage products enterprise in the Shohmansur district of the capital.

The production capacity of the enterprise is up to 7 tons of meat and sausage products per day. These indicators make the enterprise’s contribution to enriching the country’s consumer market with domestic products and reducing its imports from abroad even more significant.

The enterprise provides 77 local residents with permanent jobs, favorable working conditions, and good wages. According to the plan, with the expansion of production capacity, the number of employees will be increased to 280 people, and after satisfying the needs of the domestic market, exports of products to foreign countries will also be launched. This initiative will contribute to increasing the country’s export potential and strengthening Tajikistan’s position in regional markets.

The facility consists of an administrative building, production workshops, meat and poultry reception point, cold storage for raw materials, warehouse for finished products, canteen, parking lot for official vehicles, medical center, and other auxiliary rooms.

The activities of the meat and sausage products enterprise «Pokiza M» LLC correspond to the strategic goals of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, including providing the population with high-quality and safe food, creating new jobs, developing the processing industry, and accelerating the country’s industrialization process.

Also, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, visited the exhibition of the enterprise’s products, got acquainted with the conditions, capabilities, and process of product processing remotely, and gave instructions and recommendations to the officials to further improve the enterprise’s activities.

After the commissioning of this industrial enterprise, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, launched three poultry farms in the Shahrinav and Fayzobod districts and the city of Tursunzoda.

The poultry farm in the city of Tursunzoda was built for the purpose of producing meat products. Four poultry farms with a total capacity of 160 thousand chickens have been prepared at this enterprise, and additional farms are under construction. Currently, more than 20 local residents are provided with permanent jobs in the four prepared farms, and 40 thousand chickens are being raised for the production of chicken meat.

The poultry farm in the village of Hayoti Nav, Shahrinav district, consists of four production farms, and its annual production capacity is up to 1 million 170 thousand chickens.

The poultry farm in the Fayzobod district is designed to raise up to 540 thousand chickens per year, and its main activity is the production of meat products. With the commissioning of this enterprise, 15 local residents were provided with permanent jobs.

The commissioning of such production enterprises is the result of a far-sighted and wise policy of the country’s top leadership, and is considered a solid foundation for the development of the national economy, raising the standard of living of the population, and ensuring a sustainable future for Tajikistan.

The Head of State, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, was informed that over the 22 years of operation of this enterprise, more than 10 thousand jobs have been created, and this initiative has contributed to improving the decent life of residents.
