Tajik FM addresses OSCE Ministerial Council, calling for expanded cooperation in major challenges

DUSHANBE, 05.12.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 4, 2025, in Vienna, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, participated in and delivered a speech at the 32nd meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council.
In his statement, the Minister of Foreign Affairs outlined Tajikistan’s priorities in the military-political, economic-environmental, and humanitarian dimensions of OSCE cooperation.
Referring to the incidents that occurred last week along the border with Afghanistan, the Minister urged the Organization’s member states to further enhance their cooperation in order to ensure timely and effective responses to the key challenges of the contemporary world.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also expressed the readiness of Tajikistan to continue constructive cooperation with the OSCE and its institutions in order to advance national interests and ensure the implementation of the Organization’s goals throughout the region.
