A new electricity and heat tariffs will be introduced in Tajikistan starting from February 1, 2026. The draft Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Electricity and Heat Tariffs” was considered today at a meeting of the Government chaired by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, reports Khovar.
The draft Resolution was developed and submitted with the aim of developing the energy sector and achieving the level of self-sufficiency of the financial and economic activities of the open joint-stock companies “Barqi Tojik”, “Electricity Transmission Networks” and “Electricity Distribution Networks”.
In this regard, the Head of State gave instructions and recommendations to the government relevant structures to take the necessary measures to improve activities in the sector.
