Earthquake shakes Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 31.01.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. An earthquake was registered today in the territory of Tajikistan at 12:00 – 12:06 local time. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to preliminary information, the quake’s epicenter was located in the mountains of Hindu Kush of Afghanistan. The quake’s strength in epicenter was 6.1 — magnitude, and in Dushanbe – 4.0 magnitude.
There is currently no information so far on any casualties or damage from the quake.
