Federal President of Germany Receives Central Asian Foreign Ministers in C5+1 Format

DUSHANBE, 11.02.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – On February 11, 2026, in Berlin, in framework of the first meeting of the Central Asian and German foreign ministers in the C5+1 format, Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier received the heads of the foreign ministries of the region, reports Khovar citing Foreign Ministry of the country.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan conveyed to the Federal President of Germany the best wishes of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.
Sirojiddin Muhriddin and Frank-Walter Steinmeier expressed satisfaction with the expansion of multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Germany and emphasized the willingness and interest of both sides to further develop mutually beneficial ties.
They noted with satisfaction that bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Germany are developing steadily and purposefully in all areas.
During the meeting, they also exchanged views on regional and international issues.
