Tajik Foreign Minister meets EEAS Deputy Secretary General in Brussels
Dushanbe, 16.02.2016. (NIAT “Khovar”). — A wide range of issues of cooperation was discussed at Monday’s meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslov and the Deputy Secretary General of the European External Action Service Helga Schmidt.
According to the Tajik MFA Information department, the sides exchanged views on the issues of regional and international agenda, including the situation in Afghanistan.
The issues of the fifth meeting of the Cooperation Council between the European Union and Tajikistan scheduled for February 16 were touched upon during the talks.
The meeting of the Cooperation Council will be chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Bert Koenders. The delegation of Tajikistan will be headed by Foreign Minister Sirodjidin Aslov.
