President Emomali Rahmon Expresses Condolences to Pakistan’s President and Prime Minister Following Terrorist Attack

DUSHANBE, 07.02.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – On February 7, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, sent a telegram of condolences to the President and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Honorable Asif Ali Zardari and Honorable Shehbaz Sharif, in connection with the tragic consequences of the suicide terrorist act in one of the mosques of the city of Islamabad, which resulted in the death and injury of a large number of people. It reads, in particular:
“I pray to God for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased and a full recovery for all those injured.
Tajikistan strongly condemns this cruel terrorist act and, as always, all manifestations of terrorism, and emphasizes the need for a relentless fight against it.”
