Kuksaroy Palace Hosts Official Welcoming Ceremony for Tajikistan’s President During State Visit

DUSHANBE, 26.03.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – On March 26, as part of his state visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, an official welcoming ceremony was held near the Kuksaroy Palace for the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.
The distinguished guest was warmly and cordially greeted by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who invited him to the podium of honor.
The ceremony featured a report by the Commander of the Honor Guard, the playing of the national anthems of both countries, and the formal review of troops by the heads of state. The program also included a tribute to the national flag of Uzbekistan and the introduction of official delegations from both sides. The ceremony concluded with a military parade of the Honor Guard before the heads of state.
