On March 30, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated the new building of the Central Hospital of the district in the Mastchoh district by lifting the curtain on a commemorative plaque and familiarizing himself with the service conditions there.

The building consists of 4 floors and a basement, and 200 beds are intended for the treatment of patients. The new facility has 8 main medical departments that provide high-quality services to the population. In particular, reception departments with functional rooms, maternity, gynecological diseases, adult, pediatric, urological surgeries, as well as a resuscitation and rescue department will operate.

Construction work on this social facility began in 2023 and was completed within the specified time frame using high-quality materials in accordance with the requirements of the sector.

The new building of the central hospital has been erected in the Somoniyon neighborhood of the town of Buston and is equipped with all modern medical conditions.

The Head of State was informed that 5 modern operating rooms have been built in the new hospital. All rooms are equipped with advanced medical equipment, allowing for the performance of complex surgical operations at a high level. With the commissioning of this facility, more than 250 specialists have been provided with permanent jobs, which will contribute to the improvement of the social situation of residents.

During the acquaintance, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the quality of construction work and emphasized that the development of the healthcare sector is one of the priority areas of the state’s social policy.

Residents of the Mastchoh district expressed satisfaction with the opening of such a modern medical center, considering it a worthy gift from the Government of the country. Because this hospital will significantly improve the level of medical services in the district and fully meet the population’s need for treatment within the country.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, after the opening of the central hospital, also put into operation two large drinking water reservoirs with a total capacity of 2,000 cubic meters.

The important facility serves to provide more than 12 thousand residents of the Firdavsi neighborhood of the Obburdon village with clean drinking water. Until now, the residents of the Firdavsi neighborhood have been suffering from a shortage of drinking water. The problem of access to clean water was one of their main daily issues. With the commissioning of these reservoirs, the long-standing problems of the people have been resolved.
