President Emomali Rahmon Chairs Meeting on Preparations for 35th Anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence

On April 3, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, held a working meeting on preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s State Independence.
The meeting was held with the participation of members of the Organizing Committee for the Preparation of the 35th Anniversary of Tajikistan’s State Independence.
Reports were presented by members of the Organizing Committee, including the heads of relevant ministries and agencies, on the progress of the preparation program for the holiday.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, instructed that all celebratory events in the capital, regional centers, cities, and districts of the country be conducted with thorough preparation, a high level of content, and meaningful substance.
It was emphasized that a dignified and grand celebration of Tajikistan’s State Independence would contribute to the revival of historical memory, strengthen national identity and self-awareness—particularly among youth and adolescents—and enhance a sense of pride in the country’s ancient history, rich culture, and great Aryan civilizational heritage.
As reported, the consistent instructions and guidance of the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, as well as the high level of preparedness for this major national holiday, have significantly contributed to the expansion of construction and development activities across the country. In this context, more than 30,000 festive facilities have been built and commissioned, and hundreds of thousands of new jobs have been created.
