Dushanbe Hosts Final Round of National “One Fabric, One Hundred Colors” Festival and Crafts Exhibition

The final round of the “One Fabric, One Hundred Colors” national festival-competition, along with a trade show of handicrafts, embroidery and gold embroidery, was held in Dushanbe, the Committee for Women and Family Affairs said.
The first and second stages of the event took place in March and April at local, city, district and regional levels.
The competition brought together designers, artisans and representatives of the fashion industry from across Tajikistan, showcasing traditional national clothing, including chakan, atlas and adras, as well as embroidered and gold-embroidered garments combining modern and traditional elements.
Organizers said the festival aims to promote patriotism, strengthen national identity and pride, and popularize traditional national dress.
