Tajik Parliamentary Delegation Heads to St. Petersburg for CIS Interparliamentary Meetings

A parliamentary delegation led by Faizali Idizoda, Speaker of Assembly of Representatives departed for St. Petersburg, Russia, to take part in a series of interparliamentary meetings, according to lower house of Parliament.
The delegation will participate in sessions of the Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as meetings of standing committees covering defense, security, political affairs and international cooperation within the CIS framework.
During the visit, Idizoda is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with delegations from CIS member states to discuss ways to strengthen interparliamentary ties and expand cooperation across multiple areas.
The visit underscores Tajikistan’s continued engagement within the Commonwealth of Independent States Interparliamentary Assembly and broader regional parliamentary diplomacy efforts.
