DECREE
OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN
On the International Water Award of the
President of the Republic of Tajikistan
In accordance with Article 69 of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, in order to encourage and recognize at the highest level a significant contribution to the development of international cooperation, research, sustainable policy, as well as to address global water issues and climate change, I hereby decree:
1. To establish the International Water Award of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
2. To fund the International Water Award of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan from the state budget and other sources not prohibited by law.
3. To instruct the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to develop and approve, within two months, the regulations and composition of the Commission for the International Water Award of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
