President Emomali Rahmon Sets Priorities for Independence Celebrations and Infrastructure Development

On June 12, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, held a working meeting on preparations for the celebration of the historic 35th anniversary of state independence and other urgent issues.
The meeting, which was attended by the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, and a number of government officials, discussed the issues of accelerating construction and creation works, preparing for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of state independence, and the autumn-winter season of 2026 and 2027.
The Head of State, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, instructed to accelerate the construction and preparation of enterprises, institutions and other facilities planned in accordance with the programs for a worthy celebration of the 35th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It was emphasized that in the framework of preparations for the upcoming winter and the new academic year, increased attention should be paid to the renovation, modernization, and provision of educational and healthcare institutions.
