Tajikistan Seeks Deeper Energy Cooperation With Iran

Tajikistan’s ambassador to Iran, Nizomiddin Zohidi, met with Iran’s Deputy Oil Minister Saidali Mohammad Mousavi on June 16 to discuss cooperation in the oil and gas sector, according to the Tajik Embassy in Iran.
During the meeting, the sides reviewed opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, particularly in oil and gas.
They also exchanged views on facilitating the exchange of experience and expertise between specialists from the two countries in the field, the embassy said.
