DUSHANBE, 10.07.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, Chairman of the Majlisi namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Faizali Idizoda met with Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Park Deok-heum.

During the talks, the sides emphasized the importance of developing interparliamentary relations and parliamentary diplomacy as key mechanisms for international cooperation and strengthening trust between states.

It was noted that, in order to improve the effectiveness of its activities and promote the development of parliamentarism, the Majlisi namoyandagon has established friendship and interparliamentary cooperation groups with 69 countries around the world, including the Republic of Korea.

The activities of such groups play an important role as an effective instrument for strengthening mutual understanding, exchanging views and legislative experience, expanding contacts between elected representatives, and fostering constructive dialogue between the legislative bodies of the two countries.

The meeting also addressed issues related to the further development of Tajikistan–Korea relations and the expansion of cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries.
