DUSHANBE, July 22, 2026 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 22, the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, to Mongolia, which took place from July 20 to 22, ended.

We recall that during this visit, the President of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, during high-level meetings with the President of the host country, Honorable Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, discussed issues of development and expansion of cooperation relations. As a result of the negotiations between Tajikistan and Mongolia, 12 new documents were signed, the most important of which was the Joint Statement of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the President of Mongolia on the expansion and development of friendly relations and cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and Mongolia.

Also, on July 20-21, within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in the city of Ulaanbaatar, the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mongolia on Trade and Economic Cooperation, the Tajik-Mongolian Business Forum, and the Days of Tajik Culture in Mongolia were held at a high organizational level.

At the Ulaanbaatar International Airport, the distinguished guest — President of the Republic of Tajikistan, was cordially seen off by high-ranking representatives of Mongolia.

On July 22, the Head of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, returned to his homeland.
