DUSHANBE, July 30, 2026 (NIAT Khovar) — Today, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation,Honorable Emomali Rahmon, made personnel changes in a number of ministries and agencies.

By decrees of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, experienced officers were appointed to leadership positions in several military units of the National Guard of the Republic of Tajikistan.

By decrees of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, deputy heads in charge of digitalization and modern technologies were appointed in the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, the Food Safety Committee, and the Executive Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, heads of a number of departments and heads of military units were also appointed from among young specialists who have graduated from two or more higher military institutes in the country and abroad.

As a result of the activities of the military commissariats, in agreement with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the military commissars of the Spitamen, Mastchoh, Aini, Shahriston districts, the cities of Istaravshan, Konibodom and Guliston of the Sughd Province, the Vose, Kushoniyon, Khuroson, Temurmalik, Qubodiyon districts, the cities of Kulob, Bokhtar, Levakant of the Khatlon Province, the military commissar of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province, the military commissars of the Rasht, Lakhsh, Fayzobod districts and the city of Vahdat were replaced by experienced specialists.

Personnel changes were also made in the leadership of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security.

The head of the Border Troops Department in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province, the heads of several border detachments and departments of the central apparatus of the Border Troops were appointed from among personnel with a high professionalism and leadership skills.

During the conversation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, emphasized that security and stability, progress and development, and improvement of the standard and quality of life of the people depend on the honest and loyal work of every civil servant and military officer.

It was noted that, given the unstable and unpredictable situation in the world, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is taking timely measures to improve working conditions and provide the Armed Forces with the necessary equipment.

At the end of the conversation, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, instructed the responsible persons to regularly implement effective measures to strengthen order and discipline, comply with military and sectoral regulations, and enhance the constant readiness of the Armed Forces and other military and special units of the country.
