Dushanbe to Host International Forum on Sustainable Tourism, Cultural Heritage

An international forum on sustainable tourism and cultural heritage will be held in Dushanbe in October at the initiative of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, the state-run Khovar news agency reported.
The forum will focus on strengthening international cooperation in preserving cultural heritage, developing sustainable ethnographic and gastronomic tourism, sharing best practices and using digital technologies to preserve and promote historical and cultural sites.
The event will also explore opportunities to develop entrepreneurship in agriculture and expand cooperation in the tourism sector.
The program will include international scientific conferences, expert meetings, cultural heritage and handicraft exhibitions, as well as cultural programs in Dushanbe and the cities of Khujand and Nurek and the districts of Dangara, Khovaling and Darvaz.
